This place use to be soooo good. Not now!!! Do NOT waste your time or money. The staff lacks customer service skills and the food is horrible now. We use to drive 4 hours one way at least once a month for the gumbo because it was the best. Last month we decided to go and we had to give the waitress the gumbo back because it was nasty and there was nothing but rue in the bowl. No crabs,chicken or anything else. Wait staff was horrible.. Food was cold!! Was out of everything we asked about! Will never stop there again! Would not recommend this place!!
The place was dirty, one waiter. Had to wait to long for your food. The food was not good.
Service was extremely bad. The waitress brought menus, took our drink order then disappeared for 10-15 minutes. In the mean time other dinners entered and were promptly serviced by another waitress. In fact others received their food before our waitress reappeared. After the neglect our food was finally ordered and received and I considered it to only be middle of the road fare, nothing really special. Better can be found so will not be returning.

Awsome food, the fried oysters were very large and great taste, jumbo shrimp delicious, our server James was great with service.
The cook hated a very nasty attitude,fish was greasy an drank was not sweet.The server was excellent apologetic for the cook mistake.
Too hot....unfriendly.
