Very clean store, the aquariums were so clear. Staff were friendly and engaging. Best of all this is a locally owned store.
All of the employees were friendly! The place was clean and they had a good selection of pets to choose from. 😊 I bought my very first pet from there today and am very happy.
We had a foot and a half long Common Snapping Turtle in our yard tonight! It was right where our small children walk to school. We called PD, Animal Control and Missouri Wild Life and no one would come get it! I googled and called the first pet store that came up , THIS ONE, and they were GREAT! Young man came over right away and got the turtle! Turns out turtle was ten years old or so, damaged shell and only one eye! Great selection of cichlids. When I lived in KC, all my fish came from brothers because they were always in such good shape. Still have the Oscar we got from there almost a year ago.
they are patient they are never rude and there quick
i bought my son a birthday snake and 2 weeks later it died. i was a regular customer there buying feeder rats and mice for our other snakes but they wouldn't done nothing. all i wanted was another snake but they just lost a customer for life.
I will say they had some species of mbuna that I haven't seen anywhere else. But generally the mbuna were over priced for my taste. And the tanks looked filthy. It bothered me that they sell cats but they looked clean. Generally everything could be taken care of better and be cleaner. Especially the birds. The one staff member I interacted with was nice though.
