It's not KC BBQ... – The BBQ at Brother's was decent at best. It will satisfy the BBQ cravings of most indiscriminate eaters. However, for the real BBQ connoisseurs, it will not suffice. The bottom line is that Brothers BBQ is not KC BBQ (i.e. Boss Hawg's (Topeka, KS), Gates, or Arthur Bryants).
No Impressed – If you like the ribs to melt off the bone this is not the place, I wasn't impressed with the flavor of the sauce either. The atmosphere was kind of like the Chipotle/Tokyo Joes/ of BBQ.
Good food – Good BBQ there and one of the few places I know that has Fanta Strawberry. Good BBQ sauce and choice of food. A little expensive but you get your money's worth.
WOW – Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. The brisket and ribs were great. Only place I know to get better is in Kansas City.
GREAT PLACE FOR STALE FOOD – FOOD WAS NOT AS GOOD AS OTHER BARBEQUE I'VE HAD. THE MEAT SEEMED DRY UNDER THE SAUSE.
Not bad, but a little over rated – Brothers is ok. Better than many in a city of mediocre barbeque, but it is over-rated at this site. Try KTs (rib basket with Memphis sauce), M&Ds (anything), Wolfe's as well & you'll see what I mean. But it's better than bad barbeque or no barbeque at all. To each his own. enjoy!
Good ri bs...priceless – Finally, bbq in denver. Actually the brothers have been around a little while now but before them there was no true bbq in site. I'm from kansas city and this q makes me feel like at home. Keep up the good work.
KC comes to Denver – Its been a few years- but I was living off of Monaco and 12th street having moved from Kansas city and couldnt find bar-BQ from anybody short of making the 600 mile trip back and forth to KC... when the Brothers opened up shop not far from me. My Wife, her sister, and her sisters boyfriend, all natives from KS were regulars and the boys know how to make good BBQ! Keep it up. In fact, I have a License plate or two on the wall! Good eats.... Good but not the best – Brothers BBQ is indeed a good BBQ but it is not the best in the Denver area. The ribs (which is what we are talking about here) are very good, dry cooked and delicious but Blest BBQ in Littleton has slowly smoked ribs and the best sauce in the west.
