The wait can be so long, but Dr. Patterson is worth every second of waiting.
I was in my third trimester and having concerns with my current provider’s care. I was referred to the OBGYN group at Brookwood by my chiropractor to get a second opinion. No one would see me at either group. They all denied me. It was very discouraging, especially since I had a referral from another healthcare provider. The wait times are a little long, but I cannot overstate how wonderful Brandy Patterson is. I was coming into my yearly with a lot of anxiety and trauma, and she met with me before the exam, explained everything thoroughly, gave me the power to stop the exam at any time if I wanted, and made it the easiest trip to the doctor that I've ever had. The front desk staff are awful. My God. They cannot perform anything with accuracy and they are rude. Just proud and wrong. The phone lines are set up to leave patients powerless over their health. You cannot get anyone to answer the phone unless you dial zero, which is not explicitly stated as a dial option. Every other option is a voicemail answering service for a nurse, and the nurses do not return calls. These staff members and their egos lead to poor health outcomes for patients.
