I came to this ER when someone from AFC said I have a quicker time getting in here because UAB was on diversion. I was in thyroid storm, tremoring, and they first sent me away and told me it was anxiety and needed my female hormones checked. I came back 3 days later with GI complaints while still having tremors, heat intolerance, and tachycardia (because I was still in thyroid storm) and they sent me to the main hospital to have gallbladder surgery. Came in late, and received very good help with my broken wrist. Very kind doctors
The most unprofessional rude hospital staff that I’ve ever experienced in my life. I arrived by ambulance and was put in a room alone while actively vomiting. There was a nurse that came into the area yelling at me to lie on my back so she could get my vitals. In between me vomiting I told her this was impossible. Not only did she leave the room she didn’t give me a call light it pull up side rails. I was completely alone no pillow or cover. God awful place been here for 3 hours and still haven’t done anything other then take blood and they had me sitting in the waiting room still when they did that don’t bother coming here it’s a waste of time
We got out quick they took care of my step dad really good but if you go make sure you ask for nurse Emily she was so helpful best worker they have they’re she turned our whole experience into best experience I just love her she kept making sure my stepdad was ok you could just tell that she cared so much and I’m so glad to have met her even more greatfull she got to take care of my step dad keep being great Emily one of best nurses I ever met
