Disapointed golfer from Brookside .. – The course was full of trash when I went to play. I understand that there USC-UCLA Football Game a day before, however, the course charged the full price green fee when we weren't able to find several balls on the fairway because of all the mess that was not cleaned after the game. None of the staff infromed us of the course condition at the stater. Bad Marketing Decision!!! Very Unsatisfied.
two of the most overrated and overused golf courses in the metro area. Some holes are just plain stupid. Griffith complex is better, but quality of these munis do not compare with others in Ventura or Orange Co.'s IMHO as an avid city golfer for 30 years.
great local links – Love Brookside. Well-maintained and reasonable for a public course, especially if you live in Pasadena and can get the local's card. This is a combination of 2 nine-hold courses, so no feeling of wimpiness if you don't want to do all 18!
Very Enjoyable – This is one of the better golf courses I have found. It can be slow sometimes but I prefer to play a very fast game. If you are a Pasadena resident, it is one of the best values you can find. I would recommend that you not play this course so that I can get more tee times for myself.
