Hi - I went to Dr Brooks for cataract surgery. After taking my insurance details, and speaking to my insurance provider, his office told me I had to pay $1500 upfront and that was full payment. So far so good. The operation was ok. Then starts their billing process. I got another bill for $1293. While we were discussing that I got another bill for $550. Even while we were discussing this, I got another bill for $1493 from the anesthesiologist, and yet another for $150 from the lens vendor.So instead of $1500 - I end up spend... read more
Brook and his office continue to use a bank and a false advertising financing deal. When push on the issue the say it’s separate company. Yet the flyer has the bank and Brook on it. Second Brooks continue to leave messages about the date of my surgery which was not correct and on 5 occasions I had to correct Brooks and his team it was my left eye. When confronted with these issue Brooks started yelling. He is someone I would stay far away from. You’re certainly a number to him and a pay check.
I recently had the privilege of being seen by Dr. Brooks, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. From the moment I walked into his office, I was met with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the entire staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Brooks determines what you can afford and will override any decision made by the staff and/or your surgeon. My time and schedule was of no concern to Dr. Brooks. Dr. Brooks left me with the impression that his main concern is how much money he receives.
Dr. D. Brooks & staff are nothing but a ‘first class’ professionals. I received an excellent service since I entered the office. My surgery went smoothly & I love the results. All of my visits; evaluation, pre-op, surgery and post-op were handled efficiently. Dr. Brooks explained my lens options throughly, answered all of my questions and alleviated all of my concerns, during my evaluation. The nurses in the Pre-Op area were not only professional but they went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and calm. They could not have treated me any better. I had cataract surgery in the spring of 2021 and will continue to be a client/patient of the clinic. The entire staff, both office and surgery center, are very kind, considerate and communicative. At no time was I concerned for my well being. I cannot say enough about the positive experience I had, and continue to have with Brooks Eye Associates. Dr Brooks deserves and receives a five star, A1 rating from me.
I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Brooks for several years and he is extremely kind and detailed with his eye surgeries. He also performed my mother-in-laws cataract surgery and she is extremely happy. I will be taking my mother for her cataract surgery in the next couple of years since she has been diagnosed with cataracts. I highly recommend Dr. Brooks for any eye surgery. His staff is very professional and his clinic is state-of-the-art.
I had -20 when I come to Dr. Brooks. Now I have 20/20. I am VERY happy I trust my eyes to him - he is really good! I had cataract on both eyes, on top of very high myopia. My bad - I come to Dr. Brooks (almost)too late, cataract was too advanced. Dr. Brooks does 4500 (it is not a typo) cataract removal surgeries per year. Each one takes 5-10 minutes.
