Update: After having a conversation with someone at the BC, I am still frustrated at the situation but also hopeful this wont happen again. They definitely messed up on scheduling and communication but they also acknowledged their mistake, provided context and apologized. The person I spoke with assured me that this issue wouldn’t be repeated. I intend to return and hopefully provide an update that earns BC 4 or 5 stars. Unprofessional and disrespectful of your time. Waited 6+ weeks to be matched with a therapist and get to the first appointment date. Therapist canceled the appointment without notice and apparently assigned me to a different provider. Did not provide a reason. No call, no email to notify me of this change. I only found out my appointment was cancelled 20 minutes before the start because I called to confirm. Was made to hold on the phone for a total of 48 minutes just for the call to suspiciously drop 4 times. Never got to ta... read more

Many of the therapists are inexperienced. If you have a question or concern, good luck getting an answer. As a former therapist said to me who I admired “I want nothing to do with Brookline Center ever again.” Despicable place.

I’ve had a lot of trouble in the past with mental health services around Boston but the Brookline Center has been the best experience so far. It’s been really easy to communicate with everyone and the quality of service and level of care is really high. Honestly have had no issues and would recommend to anyone in need of mental health support. Shoutout to the all the staff who are talented hard working people working in a really difficult and challenging space.
