Brookline Center has been a real Disappointment with regards to their child therapy practices. Parents are given very little say or input when it comes to their child’s work with the therapist. Therapy should be collaborative between parent and child and therapist. Sadly, that is not how it is done at Brookline Center.
Horrible experience. In particular, therapist JB is really condescending and difficult. Do not recommend.
Setting up an appointment to get evaluated and tested is a nightmare. They’ll put you on a 6 month waiting list and when you call or email to check on your status no one picks up or replies. Does anyone even work here?
Went to the Brookline Center for group therapy for about a month and a half. It wasn't a good fit for me, but the therapeutic aspects of the center weren't an issue. What was an issue was them telling me (over a recorded voicemail) that the services would be covered by my insurance, only to later backtrack and charge me directly, as they are not actually contracted or in network with my insurance at all.
