The care given at this location was adequate. However, many of the beautiful gifts given to our relative disappeared soon afterward. We were told that often the residents share things with one another. The family requested that the staff search the premises to find the brand new items that were recently given to our relative. The search came back empty. The items were not located in the memory care unit. Brookdale is very nice -- spacious rooms, friendly staff. However, we are fed in shifts. Currently being on the 3rd shift, they often have run out of many dishes before they get to us. On weekends, there is a skeleton staff and few services. Don't try to get help at night either. You can walk the halls forever, and there is no one around. Pushing the call button is worthless also. If someone comes, it is usually 30 min. and they don't show up at all at night. I don't know what is going on, but I suspect it has to do with the... read more
I have had the privilege of spending time with many of the staff and residents at Brookdale. The staff there are very good to work with. The nurse is as good as they come. I don't know many people who look out for the good of the resident more than she does! They are very accommodating to those that live there. I also get to spend some time with the residents and they all seem to enjoy the activities they have.
Nice staff, care about patients, sometimes disorganized.
