I scouted 8 different Hospice centers in the Austin area and couldn't be more grateful we went with Brookdale. I could call and talk to her care coordinator and nurses about what medications my grandma was on and why. Shelly, the events coordinator, goes above and beyond to bring joy to the residents. My grandmother loved everyone there (which was rare) and I'll be eternally grateful.

I wanted to thank Brookdale Hospice for the care and services provided for me and my loved one during our difficult time. Right up to the time of her passing, Brookdale Hospice and it's several attendants to our case, most admirably our home care nurse Craig, were both compassionate and professional. I am a big proponent of hospice care and can highly recommend Brookdale Hospice.

When I first met the intake personnel, I was very impressed and decided to sign up with them - for my husband - because he was already at Brookdale Westlake. Their statement that using their hospice care would result in more “seamless” care for my husband, that there would be more “eyes”making certain he was getting the care he needed. I did not find that to be true. In fact, I found very little communication between the hospice branch and the assisted living facility.
