I like BroMenn I come to BroMenn and St.Joseph
I birthed my last two children at Bromenn and had wonderful water births with compassionate, quality nurses and nurse midwife. Today I learned of the hospital's decision to no longer allow water births, and I am extremely disappointed and angry! What a shame to take such a litigious stance on this subject. I will no longer recommend Bromenn, in favor of home births instead. Women's health, safety, and comfort should take precedent over the hospital's (completely unfounded) fear of being sued. Ridiculous!!
I changed my rating of the hospital. I was there today and had Dr. Nilles again but this rime he sent me home still not feeling awful. I went at 7:30 and just left and feeling awful. Very disappointed.
My wife was there for retina surgery. Everyone treated her like the hero she is. Even the cafeteria had excellent food.
I was so sorry to see the midday parking lot shuttle service dropped. I loved it! It made my visits to the hospital so easy and convenient. It was great to not walk during the hot weather or snow storms. It was such a great service for not only the hospital patrons, but also the staff. I'm very, very disappointed!!
Prompt care and very professional. Was listened to and cared for accordingly.
I would not have your baby here! Kept saying my contractions weren't real and saying I had a UTI when in fact I didn't. Treated me like I was lying about my pain. Sent me home with severe abdominal cramping. Ended up being induced. Set up a date and time. Got a call 2 hours before hand saying they couldn't induce me and would call when I was able to come in. Called me around noon saying they can't get me in 4 days later! I ended up delivering at OSF with a wonderful experience there.
The staff at advocate Bromenn treated me like dirt !!!! I can’t wait to get rid of all my advocate doctors. I have never been treated so bad in my life by a medical provider
Dr Galvan is great! He delivered my first and will be delivering my second. The staff is amazing and so friendly. Today Holly took some blood from me and I didn’t feel a thing! Angels touch for sure! Thanks Holly!!
