Wonderful Expert Care & Compassion Dr Shaw and his Professional Staff take great care of my dog and 3 kitttycats. The Staff takes their time with anything you'd have a concern about. Always getting an answer back for you. When my one kitty had to have a forepaw amputated Dr Shaw told me he comes back afterhours at night to take further care of his overnight patients; and that I could visit her then. A+ Veterinarian! After 15 years, our failthful & beloved dog had nerve damage in his hind legs and needed to be put to sleep. We took him to Dr. Shaw and I can't say enough about how wonderfully we were treated. Dr. Shaw and his staff were so compassionate and thoughtful. When we picked up the remains, what we thought would be upsetting was actually very comforting. We would never be able to replace Buddy but we recommend Dr. Shaw and his staff for any animal care.

I'm willing to drive 45 minutes to get there- that's how good they are! I've been going to see Dr. Shaw for 20 years, first with an African Grey Parrot, then with our dogs. He is wonderful; everyone in the office is professional and courteous and really loves animals. They great each pet and make them feel welcome. That means a lot! Great People Great people! My mother had an emergency visit to hospital and her dog is diabetic and needs shots twice a day. I called Broadview Animal and Bird Hospital because that is where the dog normally goes. They took me in right away. I brought the medicine and they gave the dog her shot, and then gave me a crash course on giving the dog her shots by myself. All this at no charge also. Everyone there was really nice and I highly recommend them.
Wonderful Care for Your Best Friend Everyone at this full service vet is wonderful. The docs love and care for your animal as much as you do. My lab needed surgery and the staff were all so caring and understanding. Whether you are seeking wellness visits, or in need of emergency medical for your pet, I would not hesitate to recommend them for any bird or animal care.
Dr. Shaw is the best for animals with special needs. If you have a dog with special needs like a seizure disorder as I have, who is also 10 years old, it can be scary to have them get any kind of surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Shaw. His expertise and compassion made all of the difference.

The BEST animal hospital around! I've been to a good amount of vets and this one tops them all. The staff truly seems to love and care for your pets as though they are their own. They have an on call system for after hours emergency questions and Dr. Shaw called me back at 9 pm on a Sunday night within 5 minutes! That's unheard of.
