RecommendedI was visiting Indianapolis a couple of weeks ago from NH. I had shipped my clothes and other belongings ahead to my sister’s. The box never arrived. Knowing I couldn’t go two weeks without knitting, I asked my nephew to drive me to Broad Ripple Knits. What a wonderful shop! I told Karin that my belongings were missing and I needed to replace the notions that I needed. As a beginner knitter going to a knit store can sometimes be overehelming. However, I was greated right away, they had a great selection and were super helpful. I will definitely be coming back.
BRK is a wonderful store that combings high quality yarns, needles, etc, and books and classes with a close knit community of knitters. I am always amazed at how friendly and helpful everyone is. I fly out to visit my sister, Rovena Sondhaus, a couple of times a year. Each time, we stop in to sit and knit or just catch up with the store and the people. I love stopping by - puts a smile on my day.
