This place was great. We went there for Mother's Day lunch. The server was great as was the food and the atmosphere.
Me and my daughter would go there every day for the Fried Pickles!! Amazing
The ONLY true tavern in Hagerstown. Excellent beer,wine and spirit selections. On top of that the food is on point,not your standard tavern food. What truly stands out to me is the staff,no matter who's working ALWAYS immediately greeted with a smile. Bartenders no check that,the AMAZING staff is why I keep coming back!!! Keep up the great work!!!😁
I enjoyed the food. Thought the servers were outstanding. Even enjoyed a glass of "Feed the Monkey" Very nice place.

Rediscovered the Axe recently. My daughter and I were blown away by the great food, generous portions, and fair prices. Staff was attentive and friendly and atmosphere is very cool. I'm embarrassed to say I just didn't know what I was missing.
Haven't been for several years, went to celebrate my sons 21st birthday! The food, service,staff, and atmosphere was excellent! Will definatly be going back real soon! (I had the crab cake sandwich.. LOVED IT!) If you haven't been there or it's been a long time.. make sure you go and check it out!!
