Be very wary of this practice, especially regarding scheduling, unnecessary/extraneous medical assessments, excessive insurance billing, and continuous issues with filling prescriptions. My family members and I were instructed to take several unneeded health assessments and lab orders even though we were healthy patients going to Dr. Schafer for what we assumed would be one annual check-up and a few med refills.
