After getting two estimates to replace the wood on my door jam that required more work and money than I thought was necessary, I had Trevor from British Remodeling come out to my house to take a look. Very Responsive, Polite, and Professional! It is not easy finding good help on multiple small jobs in the District. I have plenty of work needed to keep my 110 year old house in working order, but not the time to do all myself. I intend on using British Remodeling, LLC in the future. I also recommend them to others.
This company was the only one that contacted me after I had requested contractors. They were able to come out to my home the following day to assess the damages. They gave me a rough estimate on the spot and were very honest with what work had to be done. They worked quickly and were easy to get a hold of. The repairs looked good as new when they were finished.

These guys don't mess around. Right away, Trevor understood my repair needs and it was clear he knew how to fix the problems. Then he scheduled the work right away and completed it when he said he would. The work was top-notch. It's very refreshing to be able to communicate so well with a contractor and feel trust. I really feel the company has my home's best interests in mind! His prices are very reasonable, and are based on the job, not on some vague hourly estimate. We have already scheduled more projects.
I received a quick response to my initial inquiry about the job I needed done, as well as the home visit to assess work needed. Trevor showed up when he said he would, did an excellent, professional job replacing this odd-sized door and dealing with the many "old house" fitting issues. Not only would I use Trevor for any future door projects, but i would highly recommend him to anyone else -- especially someone who has a project involving non-standard door sizes or wants project customization.
