About this business

Situated in the East Village on 10th Street, the Brindle Room is a cozy, little restaurant offering a blend of mostly American fare with a couple of French favorites on the menu as well. The Brindle Room serves different menus for lunch, weekend brunch and dinner and some of the items include Parmesan-crusted Pork Chop, Duck Confit Poutine or Cavatelli Chicken Ragu. The space is a little tight and you may overhear a neighbor’s conversation, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The bar offers a small select... read more

Couldn’t wait to go here, but was completely disappointed. Sent back the calamari appetizer because there were like 6 pieces for 18$. Ordered the rubbed chicken wings. Mad hot on the outside, cold on the inside. Very uncomfortable seating. Burger was good, not great, and the French fries were tasty but so oil soaked it was almost scary. Won’t be going back

Ni plus ni moins- Le problème vient des quantités . Je pense que c est le burger le plus petit des US. A noter: la viande à vraiment un goût particulier. 90 Dollars à 3 - pour 3 burgers, une bière et 2 coca .

The place was full almost immediately after opening. I would recommend making a reservation. We couldn't get a table but were offered seating at the bar. Our server was friendly. We all ordered the burger. The wait time was average. The burger and fries were delicious!

Very good duck confit poutine, creative and tasty, the calamari was spicy and succulent and the toasted bread was a nice added touch. The burger was delicious cooked to perfection with crispy fries as well. However, the biggest drawbacks are the cramped quarters, rushed service and this establishment is truly OVERPRICED!

We had a group of 9 for lunch. It’s a small place. My burger came out late, but not to fault them at all. The chef/owner came out apologized in advance. We weren’t the only party there and it as it’s a small place, it had a small kitchen. I had Senastian’s Steakhouse Burger (about half the party followed suit) — I happened to be there with two accomplished chefs in my party — I found it unique in NYC for its ‘deckled style’ and was well worth the wait. The party of 9 was handled really well by the front of house and back of ... read more
