Definitely wouldn’t recommend consigning anything high-end here. The payout was shockingly disproportionate to the item’s original value. (I received 5% of original cost). While the owner did offer an additional amount afterward, the whole experience left a bad feeling with me. A bit more transparency upfront would’ve gone a long way.
I recently consigned some items at this store in Halifax, and they’ve been a pleasure to work with. The process was smooth and efficient. Honestly, they’re doing a better job than many places I’ve dealt with in Toronto. Highly recommend!
