My mother was admitted to Brightwater's rehab facility on 3 separate occasions. It was clear she needed 24/7 assisted living. We both love Brightwater. The staff is great, there are always activities for mom to engage in, and the food is very good. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting. She has also been able to continue her rehab while in assisted living.
RecommendedI have lived in the Independent Living section for 3+ years. I feel very comfortable, safe and relatively free of concerns. Fellow residents are mostly friendly and welcoming. Staff is very caring. A great life! I am very fortunate.

Not recommend the food. My Mom is in Brightwater for rehabilitation. I realize it’s not a hotel and the people here are busy, but I have a complaint. My moms food for lunch was terrible. When I lifted the lid, gnats flew out of it. I gagged a little bit. I went to nurses station and asked nicely if she could get kosher menu in the future. They didn’t know. They will get back to me supposedly. I’m writing this hoping it will help my mom and others here.
Brightwater is a great place to live out your life! They care of you the way that no one else could. We moved to a 3 bedroom cottage on Oct. 1st, 2014 and have loved every minute of our time here!! The staff and services could not be better; the neighbors are awesome and very friendly! There is always something to do if you want to get involved. Did I mention that we love it!! Brightwater cared for my dad for over two years before he passed. He was lovingly and competently cared for andI highly recommend this facility. The staff is amazing- very competent, professional , and compassionate. There is no better place to entrust the care of your loved one. I thank god they were there for my dad.
My father was in rehab there in 2011. It was truly the worst experience of my life. Please don't let the nice appearance fool you. They are severely understaffed. The management is only concerned about making money for the company as it is independently owned and operated. The rehab services at that time were not very good. They were contracted in and not part of the facility itself. I could go on for hours but I won't. Please beware !!! I can only hope it's not as bad now as it was a few years ago.
