RecommendedLove living here! When I moved to Brightwater, I was afraid because I didn’t know anyone. Everyone was so Welcoming to me and making new friends was so nice! I love eating in the dining room with my friends every evening. We have a porch social most days. I love being around people and all of the activities. The staff is very friendly and helps me with anything I need so I feel very safe.
My wife & I moved to a large villa at Brightwater five years ago to live closer to our daughter. The location of our villa was great, close to the elevator and a view of the pool & palm trees. The atmosphere is friendly, and we got to know everyone. We were interested in the various levels of care that would be available to us. Brightwater is new for my mother. I was fortunate enough to move her here right before COVID became rampant and they were wonderful in coordinating the move from her facility in NY. While we all know social distancing isn’t ideal when it comes to being able to care for your loved ones, Brightwater’s Activities Department reached out to me right away about setting up FaceTime visits with my mother. I moved from Long Island to Brightwater two years ago and became part of the Golden Girls group. I chose Myrtle Beach because my son is going to retire in the area. My villa includes a patio that gives me an outdoor space of my own that allows me to garden with my potted flowers and sit outside. I have enjoyed the lifestyle services at Brightwater for 6 years and everyone has been so friendly from day one. The most wonderful staff work here, and they are always happy to do their best to take care of us. I have my own garden plot to grow flowers so I can share happiness with others. Dining did a great job delivering our meals during the COVID restrictions.
Brightwater is a gem of a place. Everyone who works there - and I mean EVERYONE - is kind and friendly. The staff are attentive and great at what they do. The activities coordinators get the residents involved in a variety of fun events. Brightwater is the best possible place for our mother. We are grateful to have discovered Brightwater!
I have lived at Brightwater for 5 years and everyone is so friendly. The smiling staff takes very good care of us especially during the Covid19 restrictions and we are safe. The dining staff delivered food to my door timely and the choices were mine to make. My daughter came for a tent talk visit and it was a lovely time. I miss the entertainment & lectures and am looking forward to them coming back.
