If I could, I would give it a ZERO (0) score. This is a drug intense apartment complex. Period. I have been living here for almost a year and all I've got is to deal with the stinky weed everywhere (inside the apartment and apartment building and outside the apartment building). Hallway is full of stinky weed and air from outside is full of stinky weed, etc. The management team won't do anything about it but stick a useless piece of paper on the wall only after you complained about it for many times via email. I would not recommend Brighton Square Apartments. This place used to be privately owned, but has gone downhill since Ansonia took over ownership. My mom lived here for a couple of years because the cost of rent seemed reasonable at the time she first signed ($1,367 base for a 2 bedroom, $1,436.75 after pet/storage and renters insurance fees). Unfortunately, rental increases were high each year ($135.25 the first year she lived there and $127 the second year). I’m not quite sure how they are currently advertising 2-bedroom ap... read more
