Do NOT get PT with this company – I was sent here by my doctor to cure my aching knees. The front desk people are cordial but REALLY screwed up in regards to my insurance benefits. I was told I'd have great coverage and ended up with a huge bill after only 4 appointments which was very upsetting because I've been jobless for 2 months. Josh seemed OK personality-wise but struggled to answer my questions on how muscles work around my knees. My knee pain actually got a lot worse after 3 sessions and I was told "this is normal!"... read more

Lifelong Results – I have had severe back pain on and off for most of my life, but last August it worsened and became constant. As a result, I lost my job and my health insurance and was in danger of having to drop out of college. Bridgetown Physical Therapy and Dr. Kernen were highly recommended by a friend but I was very skeptical. I had spent the past six months and all of my savings on chiropractic care, massage therapy and an orthopedic doctor who recommended surgery; I was in so much pain that if I had had insurance I ... read more

Portland's Best Physical Therapy and Training – I was the type of person who thought "self-healing" was a way of life. When my body ached, I figured I was just sore from a previous workout until recently when my lower back was so painful I wasn't able to get out of bed. I finally made it to the Doctor and they prescribed pain medication but also requested physical therapy. The pain medication was not the answer and my back was still in tremendous pain. I had never received physical therapy in the past but had a close friend ... read more

Highly recommend! – I worked with Josh following a broken wrist. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. Josh thoroughly explained the routine and reasons why the moves were beneficial. He really empowered me to continue therapy on my own. Since starting the weight routine I am feeling better and healthier than before. For sure know that I couldn’t have done this without Josh.

These Guys are Rock Stars. – I knew Josh before he started Bridgetown PT. He helped me many moons ago with a shoulder injury that should have required surgery. I went to him in chronic, debilitating pain. In a matter of weeks, I was virtually pain-free. I made sure to keep in touch with Josh, as he worked wonders on my shoulder. It's a good thing I did, because I ended up spraining my back! I was able to reconnect with him in his current location at Bridgetown. Where my primary care physician gave me a cursory once-over and ... read more

Great total fitness physical therapy solution – I spent five months rehabiliting my knee after ignoring a motorcycle injury for almost two years. What started as one knee slowly turned into two knees and an ankle after hobbling for 18 months. My muscles had atrophied and I was starting to have trouble with constant pain during normal activities. One of the reasons I chose BPT was their holistic approach to recovery. Most therapists would concentrate on just the part of body that the patient is having problems with-- Josh tri... read more
