Dr. Beck is very thorough, caring, well educated in Cardiology and definitely has her patient’s best interest.
My first visit with Dr. Beck, I discussed with her my concerns about taking a statin since my family has a history of diabetes. Rather than taking that concern seriously, she flippantly told me that it was better for me to get diabetes than the alternative. As if getting diabetes was no big deal. Diabetes a disease that impacts multiple organs. Then after that discussion she tells me she wants to double my statin dosage from 10 mg to 20 mg because studies suggest 20mg is more effective. Doesn't care enough to call a patient has assistant do it that is incompetent.Doesn't even keep good enough records to know what's going on when you have called in. If you have a major condition and want to live find someone else.
She was highly recommended by a friend, and I can see why. She is very knowledgeable, patient and understanding, and with a great positive outlook. She alleviated concerns by giving easy to comprehend explanations of test results and diagnosis. I hope you never need a cardiologist, but if you do, Dr Beck is one of the best.
