We just had two pigs slaughtered there and had the hams and bacon "smoked and cured". The hams may have looked cured but it tasted more like fresh pork with a little salt added and not smokey at all. I won't be using it to season vegetables. Although not totally unpalatable, I could have saved the the extra $50.00 per pig and just had the hams cut up fresh and salted the meat myself when I cooked it. I was very disappointed. As for the slaughtering, they are reasonable and the meat was packaged well.
I go every chance I can. Great place to fill up freezer with good cuts of meat of all kinds.
