User review by sublimechic – The Brick Alley Pub is over rated. Their food is just okay. I dont see why people wait in line to eat there. The only thing is they have great drinks! But i would rather go somewhere else to eat.
Great Atmosphere – Brick Alley is the perfect place for a dinner with friends or a date. Great service and great food.
Brick Alley ROCKS! – Brick Alley Pub is absolutely the best place to eat in Newport. The menu has something for everyone, and the salad bar is spectacular. We love to pig out on salad and bring our meals home for later!
RUDE AND OVERRATED – The staff here was very rude, espectially the hostess. It's SAD THAT SOME TOP RATED PLACES forget that the way they got there was by being courteous to the customers !!! DON'T GO HERE.... there are many other fine restaurants in Newport that will treat you, the customer, properly !!!
Old Timer – Still, the best French Onion Soup. Our first visit was 20 years ago, and the place is still great. Not too trendy, and not too pricey, considering that this is Newport
Absolutely Magnificent – The Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant is one of the most magnificent locations to have lunch or dinner. If your not hungry but desire a great atmosphere to relax with your friends while enjoying your favorite beverage then look no further! After checking out the local area of downtown Newport one can not ask for a more relaxing area than the semi-enclosed deck behind the pub. Kick back in an easy chair and let the afternoon float away!
