Very personable, didn't rush me through my questions. Thorough explanations about treatment and care. Seem trustworthy and experienced.
I trusted him and felt confident in his care. He seemed happy to be doing his job and was always positive. He inspired me to make healthier choices and my surgery was a success!
It has been four years now since my surgery. I have healed very well with no complications. The hideous look of the area that was stapled has healed to the point you can't see where it was. Dr. Powell was kind, and attentive answering all my questions.
I had trouble at home and needed to go to a facility. Dr. Powell helped me get to the facility and get well since I didn’t have any care at home to help me. He was very patient and we made it out of the hospital back home after everything healed. I was glad he explained everything.
The visit was straight forward, which was helpful. He told me the truth and let me decide. Appreciated his staff too
I was surprised that Dr. powell took extra time to help me understand my problem. I had been to see a lot of doctors and he took the extra time. He was very kind.
He walked me through everything prior to having surgery, discussed the length of recovery, pain etc.I literally had no pain after the surgery and I have been so pleased with the surgery and the outcome.

I was going in after I have had surgery in a different country due to having a spiral fracture in my right tibia. Told me that it was healing okay and that I needed to walk on it for it to heal better. I have since gotten a CT scan and the new Doctor that read the scan has told me that my tibia is still completely separated and hasn't healed at all. I am very dissatisfied with the work that Dr Power did on me. He was very blunt which I liked but he seemed to not really be telling me the truth at all.

We are sorry if you felt like you did not receive the care you would have liked. We certainly try and be honest with every patient and would not mislead them in anyway. It can sometimes make care more challenging for the surgeons when they did not operate on you, and you may want to speak with the surgeon that worked on you. Unfortunately, fractures can also un-unite or not heal and continued care can in some instances can be challenging problems that need follow up.
This doctor does not care about how the patient feels. He has rude bedside manners, he wont listen to how you feel or how you are hurting. When I was in rehab I could not get my medication from him transferred over them. It took 7 hours for him to transfer in the medication and that was the second day of my surgery and I was hurting so bad. I had to call his on call doctor and I talked to the nurse and she told him what was going on and then I finally got my medication. another night, I needed my pain medication and it was n... read more

Thank you for the feed back. As you may know Dr. Powell gives written prescriptions for the facility you attended as required by most. These are delivered to them and they provide the medication to you. Unfortunately the office nor Dr. Powell has control over the facility giving the medication in a facility where another physician assists in your care. It is unfortunate your situation occurred and resulted in a delay in cared. We certainly do our best to make sure this doesnt occur
