I was in a vehicle accident and recovering from a broken foot. The Ortho P.A. that I saw in the hospital wasn't very good and when I told her one of my toes wasn't touching the ground she didn't believe me. After I insisted, she told me to remove my shoe so I could show her. If looks could kill. "Oh" she said. "I don't know why it's doing that. Your x-rays look fine. Horrible gout attack over the weekend, and I called the office first thing Monday morning to schedule a shot as soon as possible. Best they could do was Friday? Really??? Dr. Mallette told me if I ever get an attack, to just call him, and get in for injection. Perhaps he should let his staff in on that plan. SMH. Thank you so much Beth Hunt
