Have had the pleasure of many visits and I'm an impressive 80 year old.
Dr Lagares is truly remarkable. His skill, his demeanor , his staff....first class in everyway. This doctor saved my life, and still allowed me to be me...answered the toughest questions with class and dignity, followed by his confidence..not cockiness. Truly a marvel in his field.
If you are a human that expects procedures scheduled months in advance to not be cancelled the day before, within hours of the office closing and no opportunity to connect with staff - then do not count on this practice. No problem blowing you up with texts and emails for appointment reminders and check in notices but god forbid they CANCEL a procedure without a reason that you took off work for and traveled out of town for, they hide behind end of day voicemails as if thats remotely acceptable. Dr Aymond and his PA Laurie are wonderful people. I had a severely slipped disc that required surgery. Dr Aymond took the time to explain my situation and what needed to happen to fix it. The surgery went great and I’m so thankful for the support and care that Dr Aymond and Laurie gave me throughout the entire experience.

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. 'Dr' Aymond was the most narcissistic, condescending, non-empath, piece of ... I have ever seen in a medical office. Downplays your pain, doesn't listen to what you're saying, and then tries to twist your words to workers comp case manager. Waited for months to get in to see him, hopeful he could help me with my pain, just for him to tell me 'this is just how it's going to be now on'... just bad human being. I have never experienced the type of treatment I received from Dr Naomi Pagan and her staff. Not only are they extremely rude and unprofessional, after nearly two years of care she was unable to help with my medical concerns. I switched practices and within two months had a care plan in place. Dr Pagan also clearly is not invested in her patients, her demeanor and attitude are far from pleasant.
Dr. Lagares saved my 90 yo Mother's life. She had a very complicated problem that he swiftly fixed with minimally invasive robotic surgery. She has had a rapid recovery. He is the best colorectal surgeon in the nation and probably the world. He has the hands of God. His bedside manner puts you at ease. He loves dogs as do I. You can always trust a dog person. I am sure that he will have a special place in heaven.
