My first time going to his office after spine surgery in NY in 2020 was with his PA, who was pleasant. He was thorough and seemed like he wanted to help. His PA ordered a bunch of tests, which were completed, and the reports and imaging were supposedly sent to Dr. Cuddy's office. A month and a half later, I took a two-and-a-half ride to Summerville, SC, arriving early and sitting in the office for about an hour. Another one of his staff members brings us into the room. She has no idea what information I have other than my na... read more
Cuddy did not do a fusion like he said he would for my spouse’s left side sciatica. We went to lunch when my wife was taken to surgery and Cuddy was finished by the time we returned. He said that S1 didn’t look too bad so he only did L4-5. He instructed her to start back on the meds she was previously taking when she got home and he added two more.Unfortunately, the two meds he prescribed were very similar to two meds she was already taking and I called him on it, knowing the combination would dangerously depress her respira... read more
Dr. Cuddy preformed a spinal fusion and laminectomy on me in March. I was up and walking that day without the pain I had been experiencing for a few years. The office staff, especially his assistant Chris Schafer, are wonderful. They took care of everything in a concerned and caring manner. I recommend Dr. Cuddy and his practice to all.
You see him every visit and he cares!
Wonderful dr!
Dr Cuddy performed a double laminectomy on me in May 2005 on the L4-L5, L5-S1. I’m so glad I went through with the procedure. I’ve been able to ride horses, team rope, throw 50 lbs bales of hay, hunt, fish, and live life as if Ive never had a back problem and the scar is barely noticeable and only about 3” long.
Dr. Cuddy operated on my mother in law in August 2017. L4,L5 & S1. She has had the drop foot since the surgery. She cannot walk. It’s been almost two years. Still has drop foot. He seem to care about the incision but the about the problems the surgery caused. It’s has changed her life for the worst.

Dr. Cuddy is very personable. His PA, Chris and Sylvia his nurse are all friendly and very helpful. When I had to call I had a quick response with no problem. Office visits are informative. Dr. Cuddy takes his time to answer questions if you have any. He doesn't rush but he also doesn't sit around and waste his or your time. My surgery went well and I couldn't be happier. I've had NO pain since my surgery in January and am almost finished with PT. Life is great!)
I had a lumbar micro Discectomy after rupturing my disc @ L4 and L5. Dr. Cuddy was able to see me fast. He was very sincere, and very professional. His work was clean, quick and precise. I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with similar back issues.
