Prior to arriving at the Center I was given all sorts of praise reports about how great their PT department and the food! Just wait til you taste their awesome food. Lots of Big Changes – I have my mom at Brian Center Mooresville and had to defend it after reading what someone wrote back in January '09. Sounds like an employee was fired for doing a poor job. I have watched this place change sooo much over the last few months. They have some new managers who got rid of a lot of the old, lazy staff and now the staff is consistent and caring. Not Your First Choice. – Administration keeps the Nursing Dept. at minimal staffing. 40 patients for one nurse and one CNA is not unusual, even on the "Skilled Unit". Yet they demand perfection 24/7 so staffing morale is low. Simple human errors will get staffing "write-ups" or suspentions even when no harm was done. So as a result turnover in nurse staffing is above average. kno no no – this home/rehab therapy center is recommended for the mooresville area i would not let my cat go there.. one lpn is the most medical trained person there... the therapy floor 2 poor over worked cnas have at least 15 patients , one was new in training.. one doctor will be on call or a p.a (physicians assistant) they will visit this place one to two times a week if your family has any illness go somewhere else.. this is not for medical treatment this person /owner is raking in money and providing a dump for medicar... read more
