To whom it may concern!!!!!!! I went to visit a dear friends grandmother and OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walked into the hallways that led to granny;s Room and of course the halls wreaked with urine and ungodly odors..I entered Granny's room and there she sat on her bed and OMG the smell was horrific Her room mate stated she had sat there on her bed in a pool of urine and her own feces since 7 20 am...This is inhumane ....We turned heads when I got through with the administrator and the RN as well as other officials that should... read more
My father was just discharged from Brian Center of Mooresville. I am writing to let everyone know how happy I was with our experience. Your therapy staff is excellent, kind and encouraging. My dad likes all his therapist. There were many CNA's who just lifted my Dad's spirit every time he say them. I left a list of those I wanted to be recognized. Keep up the good work.
The party line is what you’re told when you take a tour of a facility. It’s also reinforced over the phone when you call in. With the advent of blogs and social media, it’s easier than ever for all of us to band together and share more of these realities so others can make better decisions. Bed sores, Kidney failure, Kidney infection...dyhydrated....not signs of care??? Oh and throwing up stomach acid and blood....and under these circumstances they patient is the one to say...I need Emergency care???? Wow???
Wow! Not what I experienced – I have been stunned to hear of other experiences. This was not my experience at the Brian Center of Mooresville. I experience a great overall stay. Lets be real – i was very hesitant to place my mother here based on the reviews. however they were the only ones that offered so we reluctantly came. i am so glad we did. my family and I have found the staff to be responsive and concerned. we were not looking for perfection. we did find quality care and staff that appear to truly like their jobs. i can tell you that I visited three other homes before coming here and this facility was the only one that I met the director of nursing in and was given a number to call her any ti... read more
Brian Center of Mooresville – I am so outraged by this place I would not know where to start. Lets put it this way. My mom is lucky to be alive after being there. When we got her she was taken to the emergency room and admitted with life threatening health issues due to neglect and abuse. DO NOT TAKE ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT GO TO THIS PLACE. DO NOT LET ANYONE GO TO THIS PLACE – It kills me that I have to give this sorry place a rating at all because they do not even deserve one star!!! I had a family member that was placed here for rehabilitation. She was in there only a few days and her health started going downhill. They did not order the medicines she had been taking, therefore she did not get them which almost killed her. Sounds Like an Axe being Ground – I have been in this building many times as a visitor and volunteer. I realize that NO ONE ever wakes up and say..."I want to go to a Nursing Home!" but it sound to me as if some of these reviews are looking to grind an axe. I have never noticed a persistant odor! No more persistant that the smell in my hallway when someone has used my restroom! I have eaten meals there. The fried chicken is outstanding!
