One of my favorite places in Erie. Not much left here like this.
Really cool locale and loved the late night happy hour!
Absolutely horrible. Apparently, if there’s a wedding reception going on, the kitchen only serves the wedding party and they ignore the restaurant. We waited 45 minutes and had no food to speak of. We asked our waitress for some chips because we had been waiting for so long, and she promptly went and sat at the bar and ignored our request. The Rail Weisen was horrible, the wait staff was horrible, there is no manager running the place, everyone on staff just sits around and does nothing. Food and beer were excellent! Service not so much
We were passing by on our way from Michigan to Buffalo and as a craft beer enthusiast I was excited with the history of the building housing a brewery. We stopped in for lunch and were essentially the only people in the place. Fantastic setup, the brews were outstanding, the bar and waitstaff were top notch and the bartender even gave me a parting offering of a bottle of 4 year old scotch ale to try out.
