Had hip replacement on May 2021. My condition after posterior when I asked for anterior was a long recovery with all symptoms returning and more after surgery I am depressed, my quality of life is non existent, can’t sit for more than five minutes.Now I am going to another organization to find relief. Too bad Dr Frykberg did not tell me his specialty was knee more than hip.
Excellent experience. He did knee replacement for me. Listens. Explains everything. Positive and reassuring. He did knee placement surgery on both my primary care physican and his wife. Their recommendations about him and about knee replacement surgery were glowing. Mine too. Wrecked my knee playing football in the 1960s. There was very little they could do with surgery then. Dr Frykberg is one of the most caring, knowledgeable doctor who answered all my questions. You do not feel rushed at all. I had a total knee replacement surgery and would highly recommend him.

Dr Frykberg is a talented, caring,and competent physician. I am over age 70, and have just resumed running 14 months after successful hip resurfacing with a Birmingham implant. No limp, when preoperatively I was unable to walk without marked limp & pain. He knows how to get the best result for specific patient conditions, fully informing patients and answering questions.
