Free wipers and oil change with 4 new tires, they say. Oil was never changed and 3 of those tires popped after a couple months. This guy acts so confident but he’s lying. I understand one bad tire, but three? They were new tires, or at least I paid for that. I just saw a lady’s tire pop and tried to help her and asked her where she got her tires. A reliable neighborhood garage. I feel comfortable letting these fine men work on my vehicle.
I hope he just didn’t know any better… but plugged my tire and said it was a permanent fix. The young man appeared confident in telling me this. It’s not true. A plug in a tire is not a permanent fix, could be dangerous driving with it long term. I went to Hamm’s on 377 where they fixed it properly. I typically had good service at K Cowboys otherwise. This was my first bad experience. .
The car's Serpentine belt was about to break, so we called this service center. They said they'd ordered the part and asked me to come and replace it. I came, but they said they couldn't find the part. I said I could find it, and they told me to come back tomorrow. They are not honest people. I drove for 50 minutes and said, "If you had given me this information, I would have found a service center nearby. Why didn't you tell me?" He didn't even listen. He said, "There was a misunderstanding," in a sarcastic tone.
