If I could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life I'd choose Brent's Deli – Delicious sandwiches and great soups. I love the pickles and the rye bread so much. The menu is huge and they serve breakfast all day long. The only downside is the prices are high.

New Higher Prices - Out of Line – They just put out a new menu with much higher prices. They are now the most expensive deli for their fish platters in all of Los Angeles. They used to be a good deal, but come on going from a good deal to the highest deli prices for what they serve. I won' t be going back there anymore. They have just lost a good customer and already told them so. The owner just looked at me and didn't care.
One Great Deli – I was first taken here by a friend from New York who NEVER has anything good to say about LA Deli's. He will go only to this place and Langer's. I was skeptical, but this place won me over and I go there whenever I get the chance. (and, you don't feel like you need a bodyguard in the neighborhood, like you do at Langers)
A real deli!! – I lived in NYC for eight years, and this deli is just as good as any of the great ones in New York! Brent's is amazing -- highly recommended! I always get the black reuben, and it's always just fabulous. Friendly service too, if a bit rushed -- but that's only because the place is always packed.
What a swelli Deli!!!!!!!!!! – The absolute best deli. Huge portions, fabulous corned beef & pastrami. ALWAYS busy!! And you always see someone youknow!!

best deli ever!! – You have to try the whitefish salad, the cheese blintzes which are even better than my grandmother's (she would absolutely kill me if she knew I thought so), the unbelievable chopped liver, and the awesome sweet-and-sour cabbage soup!! Get a bunch more for take-out.
Great Back Then, Greatest Now – Brent's was always a great place to meet and eat back in the day. I just relocated to the area and couldn't wait to go back. This food is outstanding, the service quick and friendly. The coffee is super and by far, Brent's is the best deli in the valley and the best deal. Enjoy!
