Testosterone-fed Oil Exec playground – When you picture an expensive steakhouse in your head, odds are that the picture you paint comes out looking a lot like Brenners. All the dark woods, leather, and corporate spending accounts you may desire are here. Unbelievably disappointing! – We selected this restaurant for a special occasion. We were seated in a very cramped space near a walkway. The waiter was very nice, but we were unable to hear anything he said due to the obnoxiously loud drunks at the table behind us. These people stood out, and it was unbelievable that no one said anything to them. When we couldn't stand it any longer, we asked for the check. It took us another 30 mins before we go out. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent – I was about ten minuets late for the reservation but was seated right away. The waiter Alex gave us excellent service. This is by far the best steak that I have ever had, I normally ask for steak sauce to add a little kick but I didn't need it. The smoked macaroni and cheese was great. Excellent Food and Service! – Had a great experience last night! The crab cakes, the salad with homemade dressing, a perfectly cooked steak that was delicious, german potatos, awesome mac and cheese, and the apple strusal for desert. Also had one of the best waiters I have had in a long time (forgot His name). I was pleasantly suprised, we had picked this place for the grounds and view, and not expecting 5 star food and service. I would highly recommend Brenners!

Don't Count on Reservationist – Called for a reservation for 8 people for 7:30pm. Call placed at 9:30 am and was told "I'm not sure how to read this thing but looks like only four tabes booked- will call right back" Noon no call. I called and was given an 8:15pm option. I had to move sitters (we all have kids under 5) but will take it and call back with confirmation that we can change our schedules. Did it and called Brenner's to be told it was a mistake. the only good thing is the location – Food presentation, preparation, and quality are average. Service ranged from mediocre to inept, and was very slow even though the restaurant was not crowded. Ethics alert! They attempted to serve wine (over $100/bottle) of different vintage than on the menu.

Don't waist your time or $$ – This is a "Landry's" resturant, and incase that doesn't already tell you enough, then here it goes: food was average and WAY over priced! The service for that upscale place was way below the bar, and to say it again it is a "Landry's" resturant!!! DO NOT GO! I went b/c my inlaws suggested it, and i made other suggestions, but what my mother in law wants my mother in law gets. Beautiful location, great steaks – Love the location and the building is beautiful. The service was wonderful and the food was great. The prices are a little high, but are comparable to any other high end steak house in town. I understand they have a buffett on Sundays - I will be by to try it soon!

Very good bone in ribeye – Romantic restaurant. Good food (serving size is very generous). Waiting area is too small. I agree that it is a bit expensive but the food and sides were good. Service was ok. On both occasions, the waiter was a bit slow but it is nice to take your time eating on weekends.
