The tavern that rose from two fires to be the oldest restaurant in all of the town, is worth going to see based on History alone. The food, too, is a delicious range of traditional, home-cooked fare, made from scratch. The buffet menu offers a different variety of dishes each day and the numerous pies for dessert are a truly mouthwatering end to the meal. There is an event hall that seats up to 150 people. You can also pick up a couple of souvenirs to remember the trip from the small shop before you leave.

This is a yearly tradition for my kids and I! Take my mom for her birthday!!! Need to go more often, food is amazing and a great atmosphere!!!! Definitely worth the drive!!!

great way to have a late sunday afternoon lunch - good cold beer and a wonderful tenderloin that is so big my guy and I split one order . fried and onion rings done perfectly and service was so fast
