Love My Vet – I read some really harsh reviews and I never post on here for anything. But I felt compelled as I have been taking 2 dogs to this vet for 10 years. If you saw the type of people they have to deal with on a regular basis, the white trash NE crew, you might give them a break for not always having patience...maybe it is you that was rude and needed to step back and let them do their job. Maybe because I speak to them with respect they welcome my animals and myself warmly. So before you bash someone, look at how yo... read more

Thank god for BAH – I took my dog to Brees Animal Hospital after my dachshund, Oscar, became very lethargic and stopped eating. He was examined my Dr. Marc who noted on his pale gum color and recommended running some tests. It turns out Oscar swallowed a few pennies which caused zinc toxicity. He needed emergency surgery to remove the pennies and a blood transfusion to counter the zinc toxicity. A few days later Oscar made a full recovery. I will always be grateful to Dr. Marc and BAH who saved my babe’s life! Anyone looking... read more

We've been going to Bree's for years, but since they've remodeled, it seems like the prices are outrageous and the quality of the service has declined. They used to spend time with us explaining our cat's exam and now I always feel rushed and uninformed as to what they're doing. If they treated a sick pet, they used to call a few days later to check up, and that has not happened in the past 3 visits. The last time, I needed to demand an itemized bill. They just quoted a price and expected me to hand over a credit card and th... read more

Insensitive Doctor, rude to grieving pet owner – Our dog had had two seizures a few days ago, and we weren't sure if he would make it or not. However, he had a few days where the outlook was positive, and we asked for a second opinion from our cousin. We requested that certain tests be done, but the Bree's vets strongly recommended against running the tests because it did not seem hopeful. When we insisted that they run them for our peace of mind, they responded harshly, stating "THIS DOG IS GOING TO DIE!" and proceded to ha... read more

best vet i've been to – Dr. Marc is the best vet i have been to. My grandmother has 2 shih tzu puppies now almost 5 months they have been ill since she got them. Dr. Marc has taken great care of the 2 pups. Maria had an ear infection, cold, green mucus from her nose, and has to have an umbilical heria repair. Addie had a cold and an abscess Dr. Marc prescribed several antibiotics for both pups and performed Addies surgery the day we brought her. They both are now doing fine! in 3 weeks Maria is having her hernia repaired and... read more

Yankee a 9 month old Pit – My brother had a 9 month old Pitt named Yankee, He was such a lovable, fun and happy puppy. Yankee had started throwing up and diariha really bad. My brother took him to Bree's Animal Hospital on a Friday who at this point gave my brother a printout of tests that they wanted to do! Now going there not expecting a list that totaled over $2000.00 and not having all of the money they told him to pick the things out that he could to pay for!!! So needless to say he picked out the a full workup and an x... read more

Poor Service – I have been bringing my pets to Bree's for years, the last few times I have taken my dog there for boarding and grooming have not been good experiences. He has been getting groomed since he was a puppy and the time before last I took him in to be boarded and groomed. They called on Sunday and said they couldn't groom him because he needed to be sedated, when I asked why they said he was spooked from all the work being done on the office, now i would think they should have let me know this when I dropped him of... read more

Thanks Brees – I first went to Brees a long time ago with my cat Midnight (who died in 2003). Midknight was very ill and Brees told us that there was no reason why he was alive. They did some tests and we were told he had maybe about 3 months to live. Midknight lived another 3 years. The day he died we took him to Brees and sadly they couldn't do anything for him except make him comfortable. I just got a new baby, Athena, and we took her to Brees for her shots and yes they are a little pricey but they are so kind and caring.... read more

Saved my kitty's life – Dr. Roblejo saved my cat's life. I thought she had a small infection and in the begining of September, I was prescribed antibiotics for her. Two weeks later, she was very lethargic, not interested in eating, and very quiet. I brought her to Bree's Animal Hospital to find out that she had a complete bile duct obstruction. The surgery was very risky and very expensive (U. Penn wanted $4000 for it with a 50% survival rate). Dr. Conrad admitted to me that he had never performed the surgery before. I thoug... read more
