Never Again Over the years we took our other two dogs to Sharon at Brebeau and loved it. The grooming was wonderful. They enjoyed their stay there. We got a puppy last spring and when he was about 10 months old we boarded him there. He had the best personality, very friendly to everyone, outgoing, etc. When we picked him up he seem cowed and would duck away from us. Terrible Grooming I took my bischon-poo to Breabeau to be groomed. I was horrified when I picked him up. They shaved him bald, except for his head, which they did not even clean. It looked like it took them 5 minutes to do the job and then they charged $45 for it. I will never take my puppy there again.
EXCELLENT! I have taken my animals to Brebeau for grooming and boarding several times. The staff and groomers are very polite and caring when you come in. We are greeted with smiles and never have any problems. For the confused costumers on the pricing: it is not a hotel, it is a kennel and they charge by the DAY not the night... so if you drop your animal off on a Friday and pick it up on Sunday afternoon you are charged for 3 days of boarding. Love the girls not the owner! I have been taking my dogs there for years now. The previous owner was wonderful, a real animal lover, very helpful and you could tell she enjoyed what she did. She sold the business over a year ago to a terrible terrible terrible owner. He does not care about the animals, the customers, or the wonderful ladies that work there. He is very disrespectful! Tip top shop My wife takes her foo-foo dogs there for grooming and I have always boarded my hunting dogs there. We have gone through several dogs in 25 years and they have all gone there. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. Hats off to these gals. I have been in there a couple times and I don't know how they deal with some of the idiots who come there. They are great in my book.
Near-deadly groomer We have been bringing our dog to Brebeau to be groomed for 9 years. During his most recent visit, they screwed up. When he was dropped off at 8 he was perfectly fine and when I pick him up at 1:30 he was gasping for air. We had to bring him to the Vet immediately where he was put into an oxygen chamber because his tongue was blue due to lack of oxygen. The Best! I travel a lot and need to board my dog, a lot, and he loves it there! The staff is always pleasant and glad to see him, and the groomers are great, too.
If you care for your pet, DO NOT take them here! I had to take my dogs to Brebeau twice because my preferred boarding facility was renovating their kennels. First, they charge EXTRA to allow the animals to play outside their cages (who knows if they actually get to go out and play at all?!). Secondly, I brought them there when the nightly temperatures where sub-freezing and all they had to lay on was a cold concrete floor, so I provided a moving blanket and 2 large cotton blankets for them (one dog is severly arthritic) but ... read more
terrible I had taken my dog there to be boarded a few times. By the third time they started to charge me more. They charged me a day or two more and claimed it was my bad math. When I called to the manager she was rude, blamed, and completely unhelpful. I will never take my dog there to be boarded or groomed there EVER again. A hotel charges by night not by day.
