Dr. Smith has been taking care of me for over 10 years. She is simply the best.
Dr Smiths staff is very nice,caring,and compassionate. When you are in her office you feel like your at home. I was very impressed with Dr Smith on my first appointment and felt at ease with what she was telling me. I had to have surgery to have a cyst removed that thankfully was not cancer. Before they took me back for surgery Dr Smith came out and asked if she could pray with me at that moment I knew God had put me with the right Doctor. I rated my experience as a 1. I waited 7 days to receive a call back from this office to schedule as a new patient. I was advised to see Dr. Smith by another provider. I never did receive a call back. After 3rd try I reached Racheal the scheduling person. She quickly told me they could not see me until the end of Feb. I really would have appreciated knowing this 7 days ago. I would have simply moved on as I now will to another physician. Inefficient office scheduler to say the least. My sister just went through breast cancer she tested positive for BRAC 1 and 2 my father died of colon cancer . My Dr strongly recommend I come hear to get tested because of my history they couldn't get me in for 3 months I still scheduled the appointment. My hole family lives in IL and my husband works one hour away . I took time off work and had to pull my daughter out of school early to be able to come to the appointment but still did it considering how serious this could be . Dr. Smith is considered the "go to" choice of Doctors for themselves and their own family members. Her office is lovely and staff are gracious. Dr. Smith appears knowledgeable and acts efficient and succinct. Really enjoyed her P.A. and her recommendations on my followup visit. Am grateful to be a patient here, now and in the future.
Dr. Smith was very polite on my first visit. However, she has a rude nurse that feels she can lie and talk to you any kind of way. I was referred back to her only to be told that she is refusing to take me *because there was miscommunication on scheduling). because she was very concerned and I didn't return to her because of Angie, her nurse. By the way, I never received a certified letter that was supposedly sent to me, only a letter with my results and this was before the scheduling mishap.
The most excellent, compassionate, kind, and caring breast surgeon anyone facing a breast surgery or biopsy could possibly ask for. Thanking God for finding me Dr. Smith!
