The Winchester Hospital Breast Care Center took my journey through breast cancer with such care, consideration, kindness, and professionalism. It was amazing. From my surgeon Dr. Edirisinghe, Dr. O'Connor my radiology oncologist, to Dr. Bolla, my medicine oncologist, along with every single nurse and technician, all I have to say is thank you. I have been going to this location for years for mammograms! This location runs like a well oil machine. For as many patients they see on a daily base, the nurses and doctors are on it. The nurses station is amazing they call you back, handle the issues and make the calls after your testing! Dr Cornell is amazing, she knows her stuff! I am Grateful for these professionals. Thank you!
Some of the medical staff were great. Billing and office management gets a 1/5 stars. I was charged $520 for a doctor ordered ultrasound. Could not figure out why it was so expensive after it had gone through insurance. I called my insurance, I called their billing department, and I finally found out it was because they billed it as a hospital visit...since their office is IN a hospital. Excused me? I was hesitant to go here after reading so many negative reviews, but I needed to be seen asap and this was the first place that could take me. I am a very nervous person as is, and I have been dreading the day I would need to get a mammogram. Every single staff member I encountered on this day treated me so kind from the minute I walked in the door.
