What a wonderful cafe and a great place to stay out at the Tipping Bucket. Such helpful and caring folks at both places. Both places are not just a place to eat or to stay but both are enjoyable places. My wife and I want to go to both places again.
We had a 3 night reservation for the Carpe Diem Apartment at this establishment and, immediately upon checking in, we had concerns about the cleanliness and overall appearance. The actual accommodations definitely do not look like the photos on their website and the online description is inconsistent with what is offered. Our adventure on Washington Island started at Bread & Water. We were looking for healthier options and were very pleased. I enjoyed the Granola Yogurt & Fresh Fruit. My Host Daughter from Macedonia (who returned to visit us) had the Oatmeal. The servings were bountiful. The atmosphere is eclectic & yet welcoming. Most of all, our Waitress was the most friendly & courteous of all our dining experiences!
Amazing food and service! The staff is so down to Earth. Get a pecan pie and pancakes. You'll thank me!
