It is a laid back, relaxing place to enjoy a good home cooked meal! Earth friendly and no waste, if you can't finish your meal then the scraps get fed to the resident hog. Please give them a try!
The building was a great place to eat - food was served with a smile. Not the fastest meal I have gotten but the wait was certainly worth it .
we had an amazing chicken cheese quesadilla and a delicious chicken salad sandwich. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and gracious. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Wonderful place, run by outstanding people. They truly care about social justice and the environment, and, in a unique way, tie together the restaurant and hospitality service with a larger, mission, to do good in the world. Can't recommend them enough. Also, rent a kayak from Valerie! Kayaking on Washington Island is amazing!!!
I stopped here yesterday for lunch with a friend. we both had an excellent lunch! Unique dining experience. I'd definitely come back. I picked up a brochure for their rooms too. They look cute and seem to be dog friendly for a small fee. I'd give them 5 stars!
Found this place when looking for place for lunch on Washington Island. 8 people total in my group. Everyone loved the food. If I ever go back to Washington Island I will definitely be eating here again!!
