We got married at Poetry Hall, and let me just say it’s absolutely stunning!! It was our first venue to tour and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The staff is phenomenal, and goes above and beyond for their clients. We got married on July 4th, so right when Abbott was changing his COVID rules. The girls were so sweet and helpful with answering any and all of my panicked questions. I would highly recommend the Springs to anyone!!
my wedding was one of the first at this amazing venue. the owners were so helpful and sweet and its GORGEOUS!! I fell in love with the trees. such an amazing place and rustic. I wouldn't have chosen any other place
The springs treated me terribly. They are unethical. I planed my wedding for an entire year. 3 days before they called to tell me I couldn’t get married there because the state issued a a stay home order due to covid. I understand they have to follow the law, However, they refuse to give me a refund. We had a contract, we made a deal. On the contract it says refund will be given “in natural disasters or an act of God that prevents a wedding” this should mean I get a refund. At least half. My parents and I made HUGE sacrifice... read more
Business response:
As always, we want to be as transparent as possible so we'll give a detailed account of why, even though we would love to do everything we can to right this situation for you and your family, we must comply with the terms of our contract and not offer a refund. Our contract states "If an Act of God (tornado, earthquake, fire, hurricane, wind, flood, etc.) leaves THE SPRINGS facilities unusable, causing the Event to be canceled, THE SPRINGS will refund the amount paid by Client to date." This is not the case with the current ... read more
Absolutely beautiful place!
It is a beautiful gorgeous place for an event. Everything was absolutely perfection!! Gorgeous property and awesome coordinator! So impressed!!!!
THE SPRINGS is not going to be able to be open on May 2 for my daughter's wedding due to COVID-19. Their contract states, "If an Act of God (tornado, earthquake, fire, hurricane, wind, flood, ETC.) leaves the Springs venue unusable causing the event to be cancelled, the Springs venue will refund the amount paid by the client." However, they say WE are cancelling so they will not give a full refund. Apparently following Governor Abbott's mandates is not important to them. I DO NOT recommend this business.
PERFECTION, Sycamore Hall was absolutely the perfect venue for my wedding! I am so so happy that they added the chandeliers to the reception hall and the use of Sparklers! The outdoor ceremony was well kept and beautiful. The Springs made it very easy to communicate via text message and they even setup the reception hall tables based on my caterers floor plan! Coordinating Bridal Portraits on site, they were so flexible with my schedule and they made sure to check on me during. I couldn't have asked for a better experience w... read more
