We had a great meal! I got the vegan paella and added chicken. My husband ordered the ribeye. Both were delicious! This was a great choice for us due to dietary restrictions. Our server was very knowledgeable of all the menu items and ingredients and gave us excellent recommendations. We will certainly be back!
My girlfriend and I had one night in Dubuque and decided to give Brazen a try after seeing it on the Travel Channel. The staff and atmosphere were great and while her dish had just a bit too much salt, the cocktails were spot on, the duck taco and Polenta appetizers were terrific and my ribeye had to be one of the best o have ever had; according to my girlfriend, it was better than what we had at my favorite Chicago steakhouse and I really can’t disagree with her. We went here for brunch and split several options (egg tacos, brioche, yoghurt and extra breakfast potatoes), all were excellent. We will definitely be back again.

I’ve been to Brazen several times and always feel well taken care of but last night was even above the normal experience I get. We had a large group and were very well taken care of. My Southern Old Fashioned was delicious, the Leak Fondue was amazing as usual but my entree was the true gem. My coworker and I shared the ribeye and fried chicken. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I’m already ready to go back.
