Doesn't get better. Go ahead and order the things you're hesitant to order. I'd never had rabbit and it rocked my world. Also this is the place where u can trust the staff to take care or everything, and happily.
The food was good, but the service we had was bad. Server was inattentive and not too helpful in deciding on entrees. Painfully slow service throughout the experience and the place was not busy!!! The warm water was not popular with us and getting ice was difficult.
Service was exceptional ! The food...some hits: asparagus soup, white asparagus appie with hollandaise. Some misses: Veal schnitzel: odd breading which just slid off the veal while cutting. Veal was very tender but the nuance of the dish was lost without a crispy crust. Dessert was excellent: the unctuous pudding with earl grey macaroon was a delight! Expensive meal, will I go back? Probably for a late night dessert.
