We are one of the oldest Memorial Designers in the San Fransisco Bay Area. Since 1897, we have been carving stories of loved ones in stone. Our family serving your family, the way small family business has always been. We have designed, engraved, delivered and installed 10s of thousands of memorials from Santa Cruz and San Jose to Oakland, Richmond, Los Gatos, Hayward of course and everywhere in between.

My siblings and I went through Mattos Monuments to create a stone for my parents. We wanted to put Tongan cultural designs on the stone and were lucky to find Mattos Monuments. Their website has lots of examples of different types of cultures they have worked with. We contacted them in June with plans to have the stone installed by the end of August. I got to know Mattos Monuments through Yelp and found out they deserve so many excellent reviews. All whom I contacted during making monument for my mother especially Ryan were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Mattos Monuments.
The monument is beautiful and they installed in a very reasonable time. Hope you don't need this service but if you do, Mattos was very helpful in creating and execution of my wife's memorial. I highly recommend them.
