We are one of the oldest Memorial Designers in the San Fransisco Bay Area. Since 1897, we have been carving stories of loved ones in stone. Our family serving your family, the way small family business has always been. We have designed, engraved, delivered and installed 10s of thousands of memorials from Santa Cruz and San Jose to Oakland, Richmond, Los Gatos, Hayward of course and everywhere in between.

The staff at Mattos Monuments were friendly and professional. They worked with me to get the perfect memorial marker for my husband. They delivered the marker to the cemetery a head of schedule.

My siblings and I went through Mattos Monuments to create a stone for my parents. We wanted to put Tongan cultural designs on the stone and were lucky to find Mattos Monuments. Their website has lots of examples of different types of cultures they have worked with. We contacted them in June with plans to have the stone installed by the end of August.
