Car Service Brake Masters has always been ready and able to take me in to do oil change and minor service needs. They are courteous and their prices are very competitive. They offer major brand of motor oil,filters ect.
property manager The guys that work there are very friendly and knowledgeable. I get my oil changed with the coupon that comes out in the Penny Saver. I get there at 8 am and wow I am out before 8:30 am . Plenty of time to open my office. Good place to get things done!
good company Brake masters is a good reliable company. When I needed to breaks I went here and they did not charge me to inspect my brakes for free. They did a wonderful job and kept me informed through the whole process I would go back if I needed to.
WARNING STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! This place is a total ripoff. I took in a coupon for a $45 brake job + pad cost. After jacking up my car to inspect it they came back with a total price of $209 to replace the rear only. The break down of the total costs was $10 each rotor (fair enough), $55 labor (fair enough since the rear job is $10 more), then came the ripoff pad cost of $115, lol!! I looked up the cost of the exact same pads at a auto retail parts store and they're $30. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM
Waste of time I called these people one morning to get a quote about replacing the brake pads on my Jeep. The person who answered the phone did not know how to look up the cost of materials and workmanship for a very common vehicle. I wanted to make an appointment. He said, come right in, no appointment necessary. When I showed up about 75 minutes later, they were booked for almost all day. Basically I wasted my time travelling to this place. PROS: none CONS: lack of knowledgable employees
Great Service When I went to Brake Masters I received great service for the price and as I was waiting most of the other customers I spoke with stated that they were pleased and many were return customers. I will recommend this location to others.

Brake Masters Altadena is Just Great I picked this shop because i read two reviews that said the place was honest. that's all i was looking for. The woman on the phone was very kind. They took me in immediately. They had to find a very specific Lexus part, which they did, and they drove to Lexus to get the part. I realized i left something in the car that i needed and they offered to deliver it to me. They made no money on any of the parts and just charged me labor for the installation.
