I had an ALIF with posterior lumbar fusion by Dr. Inkrott in December 2025. I had waited 5 years to have this procedure done because I was afraid of the surgery. I relied on epidural pain management during those 5 years. I am a former SICU Nurse so I know what can go wrong and what can go right…hence my hesitation. Wonderful surgeon. He will fix it. Aftercare is lacking. Learn all alternative pain relief before your surgery such as dry needling.

Dr. Inkrott took the time with me and allowed me to search all avenues of treatment until finally I decided on X-lift L4 L5 spinal fusion. My health, pain, and life post-surgery has improved 100%. My only regret is that I did not have this surgery sooner. Dr. Inkrott gave me the greatest gift of all, movement. Because of him, I am now able to walk for more than 10 minutes at a time without excruciating pain. Im 4 days out from my fusion surgery and I can't believe how well I'm able to move. Dr Inkrott listened to my concerns and followed through with so far seems to be a very well performed procedure.
