I hope he is retired and this is an old page. Treated me in 2024 in Matthews. Had all sorts of issues after his procedures including a week in the hospital after he treated me for kidney stones and the procedure to remove all the stones from both kidneys. A lot of pain. Told was normal. Asked why right side hurt worse than left and he had not did anything but put a stint in right side. He said he didn't know why. And left room. Before getting stint removed after the right kidney was done. I was taken to the ER and spent a we... read more

I had waited 30 minutes to change my appointment time, very frustrated. I will wait longer now to cancel my appointment. I do not understand why is taking so long, if they are at lunch they should leave a recording for such, if they do not have enough personnel they should hired more employees.

Dr. Weisner did my surgery and I highly recommend him. His office staff was great as well.

Dr. Wiesner would be the last doctor I would recommend someone to. He’s the only doctor I’ve ever seen that literally could care less. He comes to me the day of my procedure and tells me and my wife it’s good to see me again when I never got to meet or even talk him until the day of the procedure. When my wife and I mentioned we’d never met him before (we had met with his PA who recommended the procedure) then he laughed it off. I was in excruciating pain after my procedure to the point I almost passed out. When I went back ... read more

I find him to be a fine doctor. Takes his time with me, explains my problems. I’ve been going to him for years and hope he will remain here

My dad started seeing Dr. Weisner when he could not urinate on his own. He had to self catheterize for 2 1/2 years. Blood was in his urine during his last year and had multiple trips to the hospital and Weisner did nothing. Dad was diagnosed finally during a hospital visit with Stage 4 bladder cancer on 11-10. He died the night of 11-29. We probably should have pursued legal action but it’s not in our nature. As someone else said, run from this doctor.

In all fairness, Dr Weisner has a great personality, bedside manner. But he only communicates via the awful mechanism they call a patient portal. The emails my husband got were impersonal and clinical. Gave his PSA and then, "Dr will be in touch". He never received a phone call to tell him he had prostate cancer. Never. The follow up was worse. The office never returns phone calls. You only see a PA or nurse. When cancer was suspected after the surgery, there was no phone call, no response. Run.

Their Patient Portal is impossible to set up or navigate so prepare to call direct for test results, appointments, etc. I had a Sunday MRI and had to call in a week later to get results. Vacations, etc. are not excuses when a patient has to do his own follow-up and carries the angst of not knowing!

Dr. Weisner performed my surgery in December. His bedside manner before and after operation was fantastic - I felt like he really took time with me to understand my issue and listened to my concerns. He made sure I fully understood his plan of action. Afterwards, I can hardly find the scar from where he did the surgery. The only issue I had was with his admin staff, who were way off on their estimate of cost. Not sure if I should blame it on their insurance person or my insurance, though.
